I've been engaged to my U.S. fiance for 1 year. We plan to get married this fall where I live in my country. The plan then is to afterwards go together and have a court marriage in the states. I want to apply for green card and adjustement of status then since I have a valid tourist visa until December this year. The problem is that i am afraid of being denied antrance to the U.S. as I will be going on a tourist visa with the plan to get married. Does anyone know if this is a problem for me?

Hi Maria,

Have you learned anything from this problem so far? I'm in the same situation as you, would like to learn more about this issue. Appreciate if someone could give us some useful advices.
Eric
Don't enter the U.S. on a tourist visa with the intention of getting married. You may only get into problem if you do so. Get a K-1 fiance visa and do this the right way.

Hi people,
does anyone know anything about my situation:
I am U.S.permanent resident, and will become a citizen in approximately a year. I have a fiancee in Armenia. Does anyone know if it is possible for me to get him here through the Fiancee Viza? or is only possible for citizens? And if we get married in his country now, will he be able to come? or I still need to wait for my citizenship?
