wow, I don't even know where to begin! I am canadian and married an american. We did get married in the US. While I was in the US, we found out that I was expecting! So with my husband being on the road all the time for work and me being at the house all alone all the time (and with no insurance) I have decided to go back to canada to have support from my family. I didn't know the states and thought it wasn't a good idea to be there if something was to happen to me and I was at home alone. I also have a good family doctor here in canada and get too see him for free and as often as I want. I had my baby and didn't have to pay one cent. Now, papers are in the works and we (me and the baby) are going to go back to the states to be with my husband. Now I was told that if he (my husband) was to register my baby there, that she (baby)would automaticaly become only a US citizen and if I wanted to go back to canada, that I couldn't bring her with me cause she's us citizen. Is this correct? is there another way for her to be both like her momy? Cause I'm not dualz yet and I don't want to loose my baby if ever for some reason i'm denied entry.
help! this is sooo confusing!
