i have a friend who has been here since September of 2007 until present time. she is here for medical treatment. her visa will be expired on March 15, 2008. she might need to stay here a little bit longer due to her medical condition. how can i help her to extend her stay in USA? what should i do? where should i go? who should i talk to?

You should apply for an extension of stay as soon as possible. Do not have the visa expire. Get hold of an immigration lawyer who can help you with the paperwork. That is my suggestion.
