I am a Canadian citizen and married a US citizen in a good faith, bonafide marriage. Since then the marriage has been going downhill due to his alcohol problems which I was not aware of the severity of it. I just recently received my Green Card and have a job I like now and am wondering if I get divorced prior to being married 3 years, will I have to give up my job and return to Canada? Is there any way I can change my application and still remain in the U.S.?
