I'm new to this forum and just have a question that requires expert answers.
I used to work in the US and my H1B expired last March 23, 2008. I recently moved to Canada as a permanent resident together with my entire family. My wife and 2 kids have been out of status since 2004 in the US.
My question:
1. Can I apply for a US Visa in Canada to attend to unfinished business in the US? I have not extension filed on my H1-B and my I-94 expired on March 23, 2008.

2. Will my wife and 2 kids be subject to the bar even though now they are Permanent Residents of Canada?

3. Will it be easier for us to get visas back to the US as Canadian PRs?
