Confused !!!!! Need urgent Help !! Upon returning from a 3 day cruise on Monday my fiance' was detained and sent the the krome detention center (He is a permant resident from Cuba arrived in the U.S. in 1971 with his family) in 1999 he was convicted of a felony and served a 2 year probation no jail time and that case was closed. Since then he has been a model citizen. Now to the question.. in desperation I contacted a family member who recommended a lawyer (even though I'm not to happy with the choice I'm stuck now). I wanted some help in understanding the process to get him out of the krome detention center. Can you please help me and explain it to me like a 2year old.... Please I want him home soon so he won't lose his job with the current economic situation....
