I am Canadian and my fiance is American. We had plans to move to the USA after the house we were building was built. My fiance became sick in Feb 10', and since then the house has been on hold. We now want to simply move to the USA.

1. ? - Does my fiance, who is American need to have a certain amount of funds in the bank to sponsor me?
2. ? - If we were to simply get married, perhaps on a trip; would it be harder to get me, who is Cdn to the USA?
3. ? - What requirements are needed for me, who is Cdn to come to the USA?
4. ? - Since my fiance is recovering from an illness, is there anyway for myself (Cdn) to work immediately after moving to the USA, instead of waiting 4-6 months, possibly 1 year?
