Hi.
I got married recently, in US,and in process to obtain green card.
I have entered US legally, but when my visa expired I've been out of status for 6 months.
Attorney told me that there is not going to be any complications if I'm going to use his help, but considering the cost of his service I was thinking about starting the process on my own.

Please can you advise me if it would be better and safer to use attorney"s help or I can easily work on obtaining my green card by myself.
